Alayam promotes dualism and understanding of the Vedas, provides Q & A on Vethantham, interviews with Sadhus from overseas and Vinayagar, Murugan, Siva, Vishnu and Amman songs are aired regularly.
Ilango Krishnamoorthy is a founding member of the NZ Hindu Temple Society and a long serving executive committee member of the Society. Born in Madurai, where Tamil has been nurtured for more than 5,000 years, Ilango is passionate about Tamil language and literature. Married with three children, Ilango runs a print company. He is actively involved in the Thiru Subramaniyar Aalayam and is well known for his other community involvements.
