Bill Kilgallon National Office for Professional Standards

Bill Kilgallon is the head of the National Office for Professional Standards in the Catholic Church of New Zealand. This office oversees all complaints on sexual abuse within the Catholic Church in New Zealand. Bill is involved in victim support and in establishing programmes to prevent abuse.

Pass the Mic

Pass The Mic spotlights the stories and experiences of New Zealanders from migrant and former refugee backgrounds. The first series from 2022 is a community-led collaboration in partnership with Belong Aotearoa, Sport Waitākere and Storyo, hosted by Elina Ashimbayeva. The second series from 2025 focuses on the employment experience of lived experts and was made with funding from the J R McKenzie Trust.

Te Matatini 2023

In this one-off special, Planet FM presents a snapshot of Te Matatini 2023, with vox-pops and interviews undertaken in the marketplace at Ana Wai / Eden Park where the festival took place. A celebration of the best of Kapa Haka across Aotearoa New Zealand, this year's Te Matatini festival was hosted by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei.
