Family is the focus of this programme with two public health workers who explore relationship, policies and laws, parenting and family structures in a modern society. Kainga Fo'ou i Aotearoa explores issues relating to family through news, interviews and comment.
Anitelu is the father of six who is deeply involved with the community especially in the tutoring of Tongan dance and songs. He’s also a runner who plays volleyball, Touch rugby and table tennis. Anitelu is Leader of the Kava Club and spokesman for a Tongan chief. And still he finds time to work – as a licence facilitator and tutor.
A community worker with theological, public health and management qualifications, Filipo also presents the Tongan Health programme on Planet FM. Filipo's ideal weekend is kava and curry on a Friday night and Saturdays with his four young children playing netball and rugby.
