Tenzin Chosang was born in South Africa where he qualified as a secondary school teacher in English and Mathematics and came to New Zealand in 1976. Tenzin Chosang has been ordained as a Buddhist monk in the Tibetan tradition for 12 years. He is resident at Trashi Gomang Buddhist Centre in Mangere Bridge, Auckland, and conducts meditation classes in Auckland and Hamilton.
