Presenters

  • Producer / Presenter: Ena Polima

    Ena has been on air with Radio Pekapeka since 1988. She enjoys Niuean music and sometimes sings live on air. Ena graduated as an Early Childhood teacher in 1994, handy skills for a mother of four and grandma of five. Ena is deeply involved in the Niuean community through her church, sports, health and advisory bodies.

  • Presenter: Sione Polima

    Sione is a health service co-ordinator for Pasifika Integrated Health care who presents valuable health information as well as news in Niuean for the elders. A NZ Rail inspector and union delegate, the father of four and grandfather of six is a church elder, choir master and Executive member of four Niue Trust bodies.

  • Presenter: Deborah Polima

    Deborah is mum to young Zerach Vizag Ikitoa who takes part in the show with shoutouts to the kids here and abroad. She is a NZ trained and registered ECE teacher, working as a coordinator for a Pacific community home-based ECE service. Deeply involved in community activities, sports and group initiatives, Deborah enjoys kilikiki, music books reading, arts and crafts.
