After arriving in New Zealand, Shanika started volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau. She discovered many migrants were unaware of the available services, inspiring her to create 'Sriwi Hada' to bridge this gap. Shanika volunteered for Sahana in Dubai and now works in the immigration sector. She is passionate about helping others, and in her free time enjoys reading, travelling, cooking, and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and big dogs.
Graduating in Hong Kong and having now racked up over 20 years of experience in Advertising, Aubrey holds a Masters in Marketing and is an experienced creative writer in both English and Sinhala. Passionate about radio and a lover of theatre, musicals, and movies; the arts feature heavily among his favourite hobbies, but he is also right at home on the cricket pitch.
